MICT has continued empowering North Eastern Telecentre Operators 24-29 Aug 10, at TAKASILA HOTEL, MAHASARAKAM
The workshop has been sucessful with a lot of coorperations of Thai Telecentre Operators. The back to back
training workshop from the Central, Nothern and Notheastern Region, the numbers of the operators that attended the training course have grown up more than 1,000 operators. MICT will continue to set up the training course in South Region at Songkla in the mid of September 2010.

After finishing the workshop on Empowering of Thai Telecentre Operators in the central region under the project on Thai Telecentre Sustainable Development between 2 - 7 August 2010 at STOU BKK, MICT has move forward to train Thai Telecentre Operators for the north region 17 provinces and 187 centres including with Statistic Officer in the region total 350 Thai Telecentres Operators.

On August 2, 2010 Mr. Sue Lo-Utai, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has presided over the opening ceremony “The Workshop on Empowering of Thai Telecentre Operators under the project on Thai Telecentre Sustainable Development” in central region 26 provinces including with Statistics Officers in the region totally 350 participants.

 I visited the house two home-workers in Patumrat district, of Roi Et Province, while they were busy preparing and packaging their product. I asked, if I could interview them so that I know more about how they operate, the business they do and how ICT contributed to their business. |
